South Bay Royal Detailing ("we", "us") operates this website and provides mobile and shop-based vehicle detailing services. This policy explains what we collect and what we do with it.
When you book an appointment or send us an enquiry we collect the details you give us: your name, phone number, email address, the service address for a mobile visit, your vehicle, and any notes about the work you need. We collect this because we cannot perform the service without it.
We use your information to schedule and carry out your appointment, to send you booking confirmations and reminders, and to contact you about your job. We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone except the service providers that make the booking work on our behalf, such as our scheduling and text-messaging providers, and only to the extent they need it to deliver that function.
If you tick the SMS consent box on our contact form we will text you from (424) 404-8581 about your appointments — a confirmation and, where applicable, a reminder — and occasional promotional offers. Mobile information and SMS opt-in consent will not be shared with, sold, or rented to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Message frequency varies. This website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are necessary to make the site work. We also use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how people find and use the site, which set cookies in your browser and record things like the pages you visit and roughly where you are. We do not use them to identify you personally, and we do not sell what they collect. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics entirely using Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Blocking cookies does not stop you booking with us.
Your information is held in the booking and messaging systems we use to run the business, and access is limited to South Bay Royal Detailing and those service providers. Those systems are reached over encrypted connections, and this website is served over HTTPS so anything you send through the contact form is encrypted in transit. Accounts that can see your details are protected by passwords and are only given to people who need them to do the job. No system is perfectly secure and we will not pretend otherwise, but we do not keep card numbers on this website and we do not store more about you than we need.
We keep booking records for as long as we need them to run the business and to meet our record-keeping obligations, and no longer than that.
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us using the details below. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP.
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
